Leave the station and there's stores all around you, including City Square mall on 12th Ave. But head south along Cambie, and there's a strip of great local restaurants and shops toward 20th Ave too.
Walk the seawall to Granville Island for some fresh eats, unique arts and crafts, and fantastic street entertainment.
Head east to Gastown along Cordova St and Water St for great local restaurants and bars, trendy boutiques, and tourist attractions like the steam clock and the Vancouver Lookout.
Welcome to one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Vancouver. Some great restaurants, boutiques, and galleries can be found on Hamilton and Mainland Street. Don't forget to check out David Lam park too.

For shopping, try Lansdowne Centre just east of the station! You can probably see it from where you're standing!
TransLink's offices are actually in Metrotower II, but the Google Map just won't display it in the right location. Leave the station toward the mall on the upper level, then go toward the towers!
