Besides the award-winning theatre and dance productions, BAM's also a great place just to see a movie, because usually it's filled with (respectful) film nerds - even new releases.
Only place in NYC that does cold-brewed coffee in this style. Byproduct is a deep molasses coffee that creates a serious cocaine buzz. Program that makes the mixture costs $3500 .
Coolest opera house I've been to. In general shows at BAM are half the price and twice as good as most things in manhattan. Get more BAM for your buck
