Food is always great but boy do they have a killer brunch. Try the Chavela's Omelette (avocado, bacon and cheese) w/ a side of chorizo hash. Bonus: they put cinnamon in their coffee so it's mad cozy.
The Veg Combo piles include beets, red lentils, yellow split peas, cabbage, gomen (collards cooked with garlic and onion) and shiro (ground and spiced chickpeas).
Japanese chain with a knack for home-style cooking. The menu includes ramen and sushi, but you're here for the teishoku.
The arepas (get the veggie or pabellon) give Caracas a run for its money. Get a side of plantains and their dense, bready, sticky caramel-y flan, or an icy, not-to-sweet coconut shake if it's hot out.
Ya guys, ya gotta go here. Fried chicken kimchi tacos? Ya they got em. But I suggest the steak tacos. Or ya could just get both. There cheap enough.
Seriously good vegetarian dim sum. Get the turnip cake, fried eggplant, rice rolls... really, you can't go wrong with anything here.

The duck sesame pancake sandwich is amazing. Also the spicy wonton, and hot and sour soup.
Everything was fantastic. Wasn't expecting such a satisfying meal. Highly recommend the pumpkin samsa, the beef manti, the eggplant salad, and kuksu. Yum!
Delicious, affordable, great staff, overall good vibe. As a vegetarian, pleased to have enjoyed a delicious veggie mofongo. I'll be back!
