martha denton4月 3, 2016It's all really good here. Staff is really friendly and will share their faves. We ate the bush mans brunch with a side of fried sourdough bread and it was yummy. (But not even close to low calorie).

Everything.The burgers big, the rice delish, the prawns massive & the selection of S.African wine perfection. Very much a neighborhood place with a lively bunch of regulars but everyone feels at home

Simone9月 3, 2013I walk by this restaurant often and it seems to always be busy. Now i know why. The vegetable curry served with beryani rice was tasty. The restaurant has many vegetarian options. We will back!

My companion had a lamb curry w/tasting palette. Also delish.- Nothing but love. Outdoor seating in nice weather. Friendly, food consistent for over 17 years. Great music, regulars, lots of laughter

Peri peri wings are a must. I also recommend the prawns, boboti, and Durban bunny chow. Tusker beer and ginger beer will quench your thirst.

Kibbie6月 16, 2012I love this place. It has a great vibe & atmosphere. Get the Durban Bonny chow curry with seafood! The spices are like an aphrodisiac.
- Curries are a bit spicy for small ones. Try the bobotie and chakalaka for dinner, and the malva pudding for dessert.
Sort of like Cheers in ft Greene. A comfy place where everyone knows your name. Recommend the chicken curry.
Lamb chops and the chicken wings and Obama punch will leave you feeling good and full!
Ariel Herman3月 31, 2017The interior of this restaurant is lovely but the food is so-so and the cocktails are not interesting nor even good. Restaurant is only worth coming to say you've been to a South African restaurant.
My new fav place! Love the earthy, delicious food and the cute ambiance. Try the whiting fish app, you wont be disappointed!

Ifeoluwa2月 16, 2015Skip the oxtail. If you want flavorful oxtail, stick with your neighborhood Caribbean restaurant. The Bobotie was the tastiest thing my party ordered.
We always get the Curry Durban or Roti, its <insert expletive> amazing! Havent been terribly impressed with anything else on the menu, but still go back again and again just for the curry.
