On the side of the road there is a great spot to view San Francisco, the Bay Bridge and Alcatraz. There is also a railing that you can use to steady the camera. This is a Panoramic Stitch opportunity.

Yum!! Be sure and try the Nociolla (Hazelnut) and Valrhona Chocolate. Can't go wrong with any flavor, really. It's all good!
Have brunch in The Garden Court. This was where horse-drawn carriages used to ride up to drop off their passengers. Also check out the famous “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” mural at the Pied Piper Bar.
Awesomely beautiful lobby area. The lobby restaurant has some delicious food at a pretty good price for this part of town.
You can get to the outside of The Dome from the SFSU entrance beside the mall on Market St.
