Wes Williams9月 7, 2011Came here via 4aq recommendations. Matzo soup was different, but enjoyed it. Then moved on to the Brooklyn and kniswich. Kniswich was way outside the box, and was pleasantly surprised. great place!
I love Lansky's but be weary of Sunday brunch; it gets slammed. Don't hold it against them if it takes a little longer to get everything. It gets kinda crazy. Best thing to do is come in and order out

As an UWS-er, I don't know what I'd do without Lansky's. It's my go-to restaurant. I've been going since it opened, and I've never had a bad meal. An UWS staple. You won't regret it!

Best Jewish soul food in town. Matzoh balls (almost) like your mom and grandma made em....and the pastrami is absolute perfection. And on top of that, very moderately priced!

you must try the mega "jackpot" sandwichalso-they have great wine deals in addition to the $3 Sierras and StellasI love the mac & cheese and gooey grilled cheese- The portions are always great for the price. Mac n cheese nosh is pretty big and really good. Friendly service, great neighborhood joint.
GET THE KNISHWICH..you won't be disappointed..(or hungry for days). Also, dont pass on the gratis coleslaw; best I've ever had.

Scott Heckingbottom12月 31, 2012Worst. Service. Ever. After we ordered, at least three other tables came in, ordered and got their drinks and meals, including some of the items we ordered, before we got anything. No tip for you!!!!
They never remember orders for fries. Make sure you double check with your waiter to make sure the order goes in.
