I love exploring the Ateliers and artists studios inside the shipping company building. There's also the Ij-Hallen once a month which is a huge flea market which is definitely worth a visit

Great spot in the west of Amsterdam! Lovely boutique (design) shops and great food at the Food Hallen. Definitely a must visit!
Good for a 2-3 hrs tour. did not take the guided tour option. It's pretty cool to see the history of NL. And don't forget to see the water works behind the castle.
Cosy restaurant, upcycled / shabby chic furniture, nice selection of vegetarian options. Free wifi, also a great spot to get out of a home office for some fresh air and company.
Very nice concept, you pay between 7 and 10e for a vegan meal. Very big plates. The menu is different each day. Don't forget to make a reservation before !

Wow! Their own roasted coffee, great service and it looks sooo cool!! Every part of this Cafe is slightly different in details, I love the couch on the back, right in front of the big, open windows!
Menu with all the 'it' items: poached eggs, avocado toast, grapefruit juice. Loved the grilled aubergine with yoghurt and pomegranate 'special'.
We were told numerous times — Winkel 43 served the 'best apple pie in Amsterdam…' — They didn't disappoint. You will probably have to wait for a table and be prepared to queue — but it's so worth it.

Ever tasted espresso and tonic before? They use special elderflower tonic here - like nowhere else. Good refreshment on a hot day.
Awesome to watch them roast their own beans downstairs. Also great place to buy beans for gifts. Cozy environment and free WiFi! Latte was €3.
