Amazing view of Manhattan from the bar. The drinks are pricey but it's worth a visit, especially at sunset. The barman was grumpy though.

BYOB in a hole-in-the-wall type restaurant. decor was mismatched & cheap, but was offset by amazing food. jambalaya & catfish burger were spicy and perfect. nice waitstaff but waited 1 hr for food.
Used to go for the cocktails and then realized they had an amazing outdoor area in back and the food was awesome. Lobster roll and Brussels sprouts are my fave.
They have everything you would want, live music, froze coffee ( a must), peanuts and cheap drafts including the banquet beer. They also have good craft beer too.
Sticky floors and Styrofoam cups attest to their true dive bar status, but this no-frills slice of Bedford Avenue serves a mean absinthe margarita.

I basically joined Foursquare so I can rave about this place. Their kielbasa, eggs & home fries, and babka french toast are all you need for breakfast, hungover or not. Reasonably priced juices too.
Perfect place to work from with Stumptown coffee, wifi, and comfy seating, or go day drinking in their backdoor patio. Makes me wish I lived in Williamsburg.
The meatballs were surprisingly moist and delicious. The fresh salted mozzarella, clam linguine and calabrese pizza were tasty as well.

sit on the rooftop when the weather is nice and get the pate if they have it; gnocchi was tasty but underwhelming so don't get the entree size portion; fries and wine and mussels are on point
People of Greenpoint, drink here! There's a lovely back patio and the choose-your-own spirit Old Fashioned is to die for with mezcal. I want this place to be around for a long time.
The guacamole and margaritas are the bomb and they're part of the happy hour special. The Jamaica Margarita is delicious, but the Tamarind on left me flat. Cash only!
The people are great here. Especially the bartenders. They have a nice patio that's open until 11 and show a couple games at once on big projectors if you are looking to watch sports.

this is mexican unlike anything you've had before (unless you are mexican). authentic homey foods you cant find at other joints. if you get one thing - let it be the chiles en nogda.
Alameda is lowkey the best restaurant in Greenpoint. I was genuinely shocked at how good the Arctic char was. This place just does everything well. A near-perfect spot.
This bar's gem is a massive beer garden with enough seating for your awkward roommate's boyfriend and his four friends. Happy hour is $3 wells and drafts until 7 p.m.
