Karen Chiang: They make stuff that feels good to wear on your body. Their tags and one-liners are funny too. Look for their sales so you don't go more broke.
Karen Chiang: I've only done brows ($12) and never specify who to do them, but I'm happy w/ the result every time. Both locations are good. In and out as a walk-in in 15 min on a Tues afternoon at Hillcrest.
Karen Chiang: Suzanne runs a tight ship. She's honest. E.g she'll say if a stain may not come out. She's incredibly efficient and will definitely remember you. Haven't tried anyone else bc I've been so happy here.
Karen Chiang: What's good? The entire bfast/brunch menu. Recommend their polenta bowel, short rib hash, and pancakes. I tried their fried green tomato sandwich (pic) today and wasn't wow'd. Will stick to bfast.
Karen Chiang: The most chicken for your money is buying the 5 or 10 piece. 5 piece is enough for 2 people. Maybe get an appetizer too. Very flavorful and tender.
Karen Chiang: I still give the gelato edge to Bobboi in La Jolla, but this place gives them a run for their money. Could see this place having the best gelato in Little Italy. Tiramisu was also good.
Karen Chiang: Very knowledgeable and kind staff! They have just about everything: flowers, succulents, fruits and veggies, trees, and of course all of your gardening needs. They make it easy to support local!

Karen Chiang: French dip on French roll and Reuben on sourdough were both very good. Sauerkraut was excellent. Def one of the best delis I've been to in SD. AND they've got Hawaiian Portuguese sausage for sale!
Karen Chiang: You can get half salads and half soup. Nice way to sample more than one item. Food was very good. Chili shrimp dish is great. Prices are a bit high for me.
