The best record store in the Bay Area. It's a gigantic musical wonderland for the enthusiastic record connoisseur. Don't plan on spending just an hour or two here, you will likely blow off your plans.
Huge selection of great music for a good price. They have in-store performances there too, I've seen Parachute and Tegan & Sara at Streetlight. It's a really small place so don't miss it!
A must if you're in the East Bay. The one on Haight & Ashbury in San Francisco is my favorite, but Berkeley's Amoeba store is really great also.
