They finally added a good kids menu, after an incident where they insisted they could not make a cheese sandwich for me and I had to order a chicken cutlet sandwich hold the chicken cutlet.

A great air-conditioned and daylit space for hot or lousy weather. Big marble bench/planters you can climb on and tables and chairs. A pricy but good cafe, and a sometimes-on splash fountain.
The deep-dish cornmeal crust pizza is amazing, and they have good beer and cocktails. They are friendly with kids and the place is so loud your kids can be pretty wild without bothering anyone.
WTP is an attempt to create Big Apple pies right in the heart of Capitol Hill. Maybe it will put to rest the debate over whether NYC pizza is all about the water. Officially opens on July 12.
In my opinion, best museum in DC. They have an excellent collection of both well known and unheard of contemporary artists and the architecture of the building really adds to the overall experience.
This place has a great kid's menu, offers crayons and sculpty wax sticks to kids, and won't freak out about decent kid behavior. The adult food and drinks are top-notch.

Great experience! Friendly staff, terrific drinks/food (guac rocks). Nice addition to a diverse neighborhood.. Definitely will be back!
Playground equipment, a couple of swings, a small splash pad, and copious left plastic trikes, cars, and scooters make this a fun stop with kidlets. Mosquitoe-y in the summer.
