Achiote chickpeas are amazing. Didn't think I'd find anything vegetarian and tasty here but it was delicious!

The Greenbelt trail located by barton springs pool is great for hiking, but if you're looking for swimming and rock climbing, it is best if you enter the trail near MoPac to avoid a 5 mile hike.

This is a great place to watch live music, but even better in the front room. This club also gets non-mainstream artists. Recently it hosted the composer of the School House Rock music.
Good music. Great acoustics. Intimate setting for live music. Really crowded, though. You have to crawl over people to get to the bar on Friday and Saturday nights.
The jazz music is incredible, the atmosphere is amazing and the service is fantastic! If you are in Austin you must come here!
Pretty fun! Beautiful park below with a great view of the bats coming out at dusk. Pretty interesting and you can watch it from a kayak or boat as well!

Soy latte is superb. Coffee is some of the best around. Some of their brewing hardware is just this side of art.
Vegan chili/hot dogs are both really good. Bloody Mary's are THICK and heavenly. Skip the appetizers.

This is a great place to bring friends and family who tire easily. The garden is small, but full of sculptures. There are lots of benches available for when you want to stop and sit in the shade.
