The planet's 3rd-world airports would be offended to be in a class with JFK.
Don't shut off your phone until you are really about to take off. You may wait "in line" on the runway up to 45 minutes.

Terminal 8 is the pits. Starting from the TSA agents being extremely mean to the passengers, to the very few options to buy something to eat, to the bad treatment the ones that they do have. Stay away
Wow. Delta is often inept and the TSA are pretty much always inept and when you combine them in T3 it really is a piece of work. SERENITY NOW!

Елена Олейник4月 10, 2017Terrible airport (Terminal 1). Had to wait together with the crowd of people for the check-in system to be back online for 2,5 hours. Then the security check for another hour. Staff was very relaxed.

The Air train is easier than it sounds, try it...it'll get you back to Manhattan in less than an hour.
GOOD CONNECTION, especially flying from NYC to LAX. expensive though but it is BUZ time.

- One hour at delta just to drop the bag. 2 hours to get through security. Need to plan ahead here. It can be 1000 people in line.

Fly Virgin America. They have a nice massage place in their terminal to get a quick massage before your plane boards.

"ジョン・F・ケネディ国際空港 ターミナル５：エーロ・サーリネン（1962）。チューリップチェアで有名なサーリネンの代表作。4枚のコンクリート・シェルで構成された屋根が特徴で、飛び立とうとする鳥のような形をしている。曲線が美しい内装は、20世紀を代表する工業デザイナー、レイモンド・ローウィーが手がけた。取り壊しも検討されたが、2005年国家歴史登録財に指定。2009年にはリニューアル完了。"
