Velkommen! If you're going to Central Station (København H) you've got several train options, all of which are 16kr and about 10-15 min. Lightning trains (IC/ICL) are express; Öresundståg makes stops.
If you take the train to the city, watch out for thieves. They try to help you on board with your luggage as a distraction while a guy behind you take your stuff. So if someone tries to help, yell NO!
Keep an eye out for the metro signs and don't get sidetracked by the train signs. Totally different systems!!
How to get data traffic as a tourist: buy the SIM card with 15GB for DKR 199 at Telenor stores. If you have iPhone 5 and need nano SIM the store iRep can cut it for you. Will even work with iMessage.
If travelling by train from Copenhagen Central Station, ask for a return ticket which includes museum entry. It is cheaper than individual tickets.

The inside is interesting to visit, especially the ballroom, but the best is the park and the castle view from the park.
At the suburb city of Ishoj is this amazing museum devoted to modern and contemporary art. Here, you'll find works by artists such as Damien Hirst and Olafur Eliasson. Closed on Mondays.

Visit on a weekday, and arrive around dusk. Head towards the rear and ride Himmelskivet for amazing views of Copenhagen. Spend the rest of the evening strolling through the beautiful grounds

The castle has its own free wifi - and QR codes in every room with really good info in English or Danish. A permit to take photos inside is not included in the entrance fee and is additional 20 kr.
Don't just walk by this castle! It has some amazing and colourful renaissance rooms and lots of grand furniture and treasures dating back from the 1600s.

The single best Collection of food, eateries, coffee etc. etc. shops in CPH & the quality and service is in the absolute top. A must go-to-experience for locals as well as travellers.
Grab a glass of wine and mixed plate of charcuterie at Fougaz. Great service and food.
Walk on the side with the even house numbers and you have the best view on to the other side ;-)
The longest Pedestrian street in the whole Europe. You can find anything and everything. A must see touristic attraction. Very packed at Saturdays.
As a tourist in Copenhagen you need to see Strøget. Try and find the smaller streets next to strøget
I love Strøget! It's expensive to shop but i love just walking down Strøget. Get some Brændte mandler (burnt almonds with sugar) while you're there and walk all the way down to Nyhavn :)
Climb to the top even if you're afraid of heights! It's totally worth the amazing views. Entry is included with the Copenhagen card so just do it.
It's worth looking in the church to see the elephants and altar as well, not just climbing the tower.

Buy cheap water in Tiger butikken - 2 for 10 DKK - that's a fourth of the over prize that all the other shops charge!

Really brilliant smørrebrød, Classic Danish combined with new style and flavours. A must try!
My hankering for smørbrød was not disappointed at Aamanns and lucky a friend booked. I can also recommend Shmushi for smaller avant garde portions and Orangeriet for the traditional done perfectly.

The Royal Danish Library is a beautiful addition to the Copenhagen cityscape. Its glistening exterior & housing of rare national treasures, makes it truly a black diamond, as it is called in Danish.
Order the drained yoghurt and granola or the oatmeal. Open from 7am during the week and easily walkable from Central Station. Plenty of bike hire stations around.
