Finally find a place in Brooklyn Heights that makes French Toast right. Add bacon if you're in an adventure mood, won't regret.

TK 🍦🍷6月 2, 2013I walked in at 10pm with my date and we were given a corner booth; romance! The mussels and scallops are both divine. The "hippie" music is a wink amidst the gastropub setting.

pipitu12月 23, 2014Finally a chef who knows where the effort should be made to make a decent omelette, although there is still room for improvement. Pork sausage patties are quite delicious too.
Great neighborhood restaurant. Fave pick is the mussels and frites. Good selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Brunch is good, but aim to get there just as they open or late to beat crowds.

Mac and cheese. Brussel sprouts. 1862 cocktail is sweet, then spicy. One of the best happy hours, and happens every day.

Fantastic drinks (cocktails) and the herb polenta with the slow cooked egg is absolutely mind blowing.

Solid Old Fashioned -- I modeled my version of the drink off of the one here + the one at the Jakewalk
Great old-fashioned and amazing mussels! Also crispy oysters but they aren't always on the menu- Great food, great service. Looking for a fruity, summery, refreshing cocktail? Try the long bottom bramble!
Great cocktails and delicious food. Everything is good. Try the Brussel Sprouts.
- The grilled pork chop with butternut squash, fuji apples, maple glazed bacon, and spiced apple cider sauce is GOOD
Definitely don't pass up the Mac and cheese. The cocktails are also great.
