Galapagos Charters

The Galapagos network of charter schools operates out of two Illinois locations, Chicago and Rockford. The Chicago location sits in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood, located on the northwest side of the city. A public school, Galapagos Charter School maintains a dedication to increasing the academic achievement of its students through the promotion of values such as success, improvement, respect, and responsibility. In teaching students, Galapagos Charter School instructors use CAFE, an acronym that stands for comprehension, accuracy, fluency, and expanding vocabulary. The school groups students based on academic need and caters lessons to these needs.
