Athonia C. • 4月 11, 2019vegans: this places is a herbivores, extravaganza. They have Dan Dan noodles w/Beyond Beef ($2 extra)Try the cumin fries during lunch. they’re effectively free on the lunch special,a $7 value!!
Michael G. • 12月 31, 2022Delicious food in a cozy setting! The dry pot is a must - load it up with ~7 things and share with the table
Ashley K. • 12月 26, 2013Best of the UES but overall Sichuan is always higher quality. Best ambiance of ANY Chinese restaurant in NYC
Rewan P. • 5月 18, 2015Lunch specials are only on weekdays. Their Mapo Tofu and garlic string beans are best vegetarian entree. Delicious food.
Jon C. • 6月 23, 2014Great new Chinatown find! Food's really good, ordeded the classic dishes (凉粉,水煮鱼) and everything was delicious. Prices are a little on the higher end for Chinatown, but definitely worth it
Jesse Y. • 4月 29, 2022Great service, good food. Spicier than most restaurants. Be careful what you order!
Stephane W. • 11月 27, 2019Reliable Szechuan restaurant with decently priced lunch for the local crowds. The dinner menu can get a bit pricier because of the location
Kiwi W. • 10月 4, 2016A hidden outpost of their more popular 39th street location. Pretty authentic menu- get the spicy dumplings and the capsicum lamb! All the chili stews are good too if you're brave :)
Joe K. • 4月 21, 2017Bao Bao noodles are great! Just be careful on the spice level. They're really spicy!
Kong L. • 4月 8, 2015They changed the name and chef! Now they only serve half amount..most foods here are spicy. Their spicy boiling beef is my fav! Also 炒丝瓜(loofah) is not on the menu but make sure you order it
Eater • 9月 7, 2017Virtually all the spicy and numbing classics here — from mapo tofu, to Chongqing chicken, to cumin lamb, to cold sesame noodles — are spot on.
Myung • 3月 28, 2018Great sichuan food that’s cheaper than (yet comparable in quantity to) the other spots in the area! Try the double cooked pork, fish filet in chili oil, and eggplant in garlic sauce
Wen X. • 11月 3, 2016Best hotpot place in New York! The spicy soup was flavorful, as are other soup based according to friends who I with. The lamb and beef slices are super thin and fresh too!
Nicole G. • 7月 16, 2022Don’t be intimidated by the low rating, this place is phenomenal. The real deal!!
Alex T. • 2月 2, 2017Lan Sheng is a truly authentic Sichuan restaurant. Some of my faves are the Cumin Lamb and Dan Dan Noodles. Warning: their dishes are very spicy, so I recommend asking for reduced spiciness
Honghui Y. • 1月 11, 2017Delicious and cheap (for the area) noodles. Because this is a szechuan restaurant, all the options here are spicy, even if they're not marked with a pepper symbol.
22, 2015Slightly pricey Chinese food in the Rockefeller area. The Sichuan dishes are the best on the menu, so be sure to try the Braised Beef with Napa, the Dan Dan noodles, and the Ma Po Tofu.
