San Diego Zoo • 5月 20, 2011The Zoo’s adult male giraffe, Silver, is more than 17 feet tall. With such a long neck, it’s surprising that giraffes have the same number of vertebrae that we do—each one is just much bigger!

@socalwithkids • 8月 6, 2011The carousel was built in 1910 by the Herschell Spillman Co, & it’s one of the few operational carousels of it’s kind. There's a fun plane/butterfly ride next to the carousel as well. More info below.
