Chicken mole - spicy and really good. A little on the pricey side, but so is almost everything in Maui.

We tried the dry noodles, BBQ sticks and the manju and everything was delicious! You do have to wonder how anyone even knows about this place, it doesn't look like a restaurant from the street!

Banh hoi chao tom shrimp pop burritos, whole steamed opakapaka, chicken curry stew, mahi mahi in clay pot, saigon egg noodle soup, Vietnamese steak, Nhung Dam, spicy, crisped Dungeness crab.
Though (vegetarian) options are limited, the food is excellent and has home-cooked taste. Try their Masala Chai, it is exceptional and so much better than what you get at Starbucks. :)

The Lava Flow has amazing pineapple-coconut sorbet "volcano" in the middle surrounded by light rum & fruit juices.
Next to the Sheraton, known for cliff diving and snorkeling (likely to see sea turtles). Careful of rip currents around the rock. At sunset, Sheraton holds a torch lighting ceremony and cliff dive.

Be sure to wear proper shoes if you actually want to hike down to the pools. It get real slippery. Also, watch the ocean. If it's heavy surf it gets dangerous. Other than that this place is an oasis!

Explore the entire life of a pineapple, from seed to delicious treat, eaten right in the field. Worth a trip, and the morning tour is great before driving up to Haleakala for sunset.
Maui's best kept secret: pick up a hot bento box here or make your own with their packaged leftovers. Turkey was flavorful & tender, meatloaf was exceptional, chow fun was delish!!
If you're planning to go upcountry, be sure to stop by this little farm. The baby goats are adorable and best of all, they've got cheese and chocolates.
Definitely take the walking tour, and after that, grab a cup of freshly-steeped lavender tea and some fresh lavender scones and just soak in the atmosphere. Life is good.

Awesome hiking trails that are pretty challenging! There are rope ladders, plenty of cliffs for jumping, & two waterfalls. Swim to see the big waterfall at the end. It's worth it. Happy hiking!
This is the place to stop and cool off after all that hiking to the previous water falls. Hang around long enough and you might see some daring locals cliff jumping into the deepest part.
On a day trip to Hana you should definitively stop at this black sand beach. Pretty amazing sight and good place to take a break from the drive.

This roadside outdoor stand serves authentic Mexican food in central Kihei. The Mulitas with Shredded Pork and Carne Asada Tacos are delicious. Homemade salsas. Agua de Pina. Open till 10:30p Fri-Sun.
My favorite place for Sushi and Sashimi. Make sure you try the Matsuhisa Style Miso Butterfish.
Take a few minutes to talk to Paul, the owner. He is awesome and has some good stories. Proper shave ice with all the extras, not a sno cone.

Drive to the end of the road to see lava formations, Hawaiian ruins and tide pools. Bring your towel for the walk. Lots of sandy coves. Must see place in Maui!
Ask to go over the edge. The current will sweep you quickly so make sure a boat is there to pick you up on the other side. Recommend Seafire with Don. Small boat that also stops at turtle town.
