Really interesting upscale Indian food. It's also in a super cute and cozy little victorian house. I want to come here again and again.
We come in to enjoy the bruschetta. It's a must! You get to pick from 12+ different topping combinations and it's great as a meal, split between 2 people. YUM!

Go after 12 and grab a la carte extras leftover from the morning orders. Always a surprise on what is available.
This is a wonderful paved trail for running, biking, walking, skating. The reservoir is pretty, and the largest bay laurel tree in the world is just a mile or so in.
Pollo Asado tacos are great. Good place for kids, and all you can eat chips and salsa!
This toy store has everything. Love getting a balloon for the little one - hours of fun for 79 cents.
The enchilada sauce is the best I've ever had. It's more like a mole, actually.

This is a great little salon with no-nonsense mani-pedis for relatively cheap here in San Mateo, so you can go to weekly and not break the bank. But my last manicure lasted TWO weeks -- even better.
This little shop has the best letterpress stationary. Indie cards, journals, wedding invitations, etc.
The pollo asado and the al pastor are out of this world good. This location is better than both taquerias of the same name in the Mission. (OMG, I can't believe I said that.) GO HERE.
