Very limited seating (2 small tables) but great coffee. Take away and have a cake at Grin Affair which is nearby.
Now roasting its own coffee and importing directly from producers, this is one of the best places for coffee. Try the filter, Chemex, Syphon, Clover or in summer cold drip and an alternative to latte.

Quaint little coffee shop serving Four Barrel not too far from 24th BART. You might almost miss it, but if you're looking for a convenient spot for some quite-good coffee, it's worth seeking it out.

Try the single origin of the week. Nearly always worth it, though ask first to see what style it is an what type of drink works best. This week: Colombian Carmen de Atrato. Earthy and very tasty.
Grab a seat by the window and watch Surry Hills walk past. PCP’s espresso is fantastic, but it’s definitely worth trying a filter coffee. It's like wine: ask for their advice on which to try.
A spin off from the mega ethical, Padre in East Brunswick, great coffee comes out of their colour matched Synessos.
Incredible ambiance, and the attention to detail is superb. The fact that they installed exposed matte-finished hard wood on the ceilings says it all.
It's super clean and bright in here and the baristas are amazing. The window seats are great for people-watching. They also carry Worthy Granola! That seals the deal.
