This place is off to a good start. Great staff, compact but varied menu and the best fish fingers I've ever had. Random, but true. BTW, their 'flats' are just pizzas. Good ones at that.
Superb value, healthy, colourful, impressive salads, served just a metre or so above hundreds of corpses. Can't fault the place.
In the Covent Garden area, Rock & Sole Plaice is a local favorite. Great fish and chips with huge portions but a little on the pricey side.
GQS succeeds in cooking up simple but tasty British food that changes with the seasons. The place is simply decorated, the staff is fairly knowledgeable and the food is pretty good. 続きを読む
