Ashley Quaile6月 11, 2016This place is amazing! We saw a lot of wildlife and beautiful desert plants from all over the world. The grounds are petty large too! The butterfly exhibit is not open currently as they are remodeling
Ref L5月 17, 2015It's pretty amazing. The abundance of desert Cactus and flowers. It's organized well and looks amazing. Top that off with all the wonderful smells of the leaves and flowers. A must visit.

- Brian Bell8月 19, 2019What a fantastic way to see the desert landscape. They have rotating exhibits as well as really cool events on their calendar. Check out their website before you visit. Consider going @ 7a in summer.
KE4月 16, 2022Beautiful, especially in the spring - desert blooms! Visit the butterfly pavilion, it opens @ 9:30am (time your visit around this to avoid lines.) Make a res online, go early, bring sun protection.
Everything...desert loop trail gives you a great view of downtown Phoenix...friendly and very helpful staff...Gertrudes has some excellent beer and wines to finish off your visit

You don't realize all the unique plant life in the desert until you visit. Some of the attractions are seasonal, Spring is best.
