Apparently they have karaoke on some (non-strict) subset of Sunday nights. The space isn't great for this but it livens the place up. The pro move is (as always) get a hideout drink and bring it out.
They have a pretty decent selection of Belgium style beers. Try getting a bottle of Lindemans FramboiseLambic. It's a Belgium style sour beer and it's only $15. Light and refreshing. A good value.

It's no longer much of a secret, but tucked in back of the Mission District dive classic Dalva, the Hideout is proof of the neighborhood's secret desire to embrace cocktaildom.
