this is the best spot in Captiva in the late afternoon. come early enough to snag a picnic table on the beach and enjoy the drinks, raw bar, live music and picturesque sunset.
Venue is small so try to go on an off day or hour. Food is amazing...lives up to the hype!

Nice quiet beach with a Gopher Turtle preserve between the parking lot and the water. Not really a picnic area. Make sure to check for turtles before you drive away: they like to hide under there!
We followed Trip Advisors advice. We had a cheeseburger and the mesquite grouper sandwich. Onion Rings and French Fried coated in their SOB Dust. Yummy. Finished with their key lime pie. Do it!

My favorite beach in Ft. Myers Beach. There's so much to do and see here. They provide rest/changing rooms and showers for beach goers. Sunsets are gorgeous here. The downer, limited parking space.
