As much as I love Seattle coffee, you gotta give Stumptown some serious props, 'cause they bring it!
Some people get turned off by the fact that they are coffee snobs here. But, there's no question that the coffee is amazing and they know their shit. Sometimes, snobbery is deserved!
Love this place. Great coffee, and it's a light, airy space begs you to stay and hang out and catch up on your Dostoyevsky.
This is the kind of place you drive by for months and make mental bookmarks to visit but you never get around to it; but when you finally do, you say, "what took me so long?" Good vibe here.
My first coffee house when I moved to Seattle, so it will always have a place in my heart. I have spent many a rainy afternoon here, drinking in their coffee goodness and reading.
