"A good spot to position yourself at the start of the evening. Very ‘attentive’ boys working the front. Not sure what it’s like now, but we went to the craziest karaoke afterparty here in 2016."

"Handy hotel just near the end of Bangla Road. It’s actually inside a supermarket. The hotel itself is compact, but the rooms are spacious and well designed. Good for a short 1-2 night stay."

"As people have been saying for 10yrs in the tips, it’s expensive for Thailand. But if you book ahead and get a seat at the edge for sunset it’s worth it. Incredibly attentive staff, even for Thailand."

"Adored this hotel. A really nice pool with loads of inflatables, just by the beach. You can hire a kayak for free and go out into the sea as many times as you want too. It is noisy at night though."

"If you want some AC and tasty coffee/food (and free WiFi) while you wait for your ferry, this is the place to go to. You can get a Chang too. Starbucks could learn a thing or two from these guys."
