The corned beef sandwich is the total package: fantastic corned beef and fresh rye bread generously flecked with caraway seeds, tangy pickles, a stone-ground mustard, and horseradish cheddar cheese.

Amazing single cask Scotches, which match well with the hearty beef stew. My friend said the veggie burger was the best she had ever had.

Try a cider cocktail, the house cider and the Spanish cider. Food was delicious (amazing fish and chips) and we finished our meal with the sipping vinegar. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable.

I have a love for the roasted seasonal vegetables. Especially the beets! They make delicious whiskey sours with a creamy top and soaked cherries. Not maraschinos.
