Oscar's is as underrated as Kopp's is overrated. Probably 50% cheaper than Kopps and better food IMO. See for yourself!
Who doesn't love a good ol' fashioned ice cream cone? Leopold's has wonderful sandwiches (think PB&J, Club & their famous shrimp salad) and delightful, unique ice cream flavors!
Try the Bay Street Scramble for breakfast/brunch, it's got a little bit of everything: cheese, bacon, fresh veggies and eggs of course.
If you don't have reservations, try the Tavern downstairs. The Southern Sushi is must, don't let the word "sushi" scare you off, it's delicious! And get some oysters on your salad!

They have hot lunches which are delicious and they make fresh sandwiches made to order. Good ol fashioned deli. Plus desert after!!
Try the ahi tuna salad. It comes with a fried hard boiled egg (read that one more time: "it comes with a fried hard boiled egg"). Nice and light lunch on university ave. Sit outside!
Make it to the Rockabilly Chili contest that is held the first week of every march. Great food and music!
