Dana Hollister did a great job revamping this classic Eastside greasy spoon with a slightly more refined menu and a top drawer sweets section (like pies!). 続きを見る
Fantastic breakfast for bacon lovers and vegans alike. If there are just a couple of you, have a seat at the bar and chat with the friendly (but very busy) staff.
The breakfast/brunch menu is great. For those who care, they have lots of veg options/substitutions! Service is a little slow in the am/afternoon. I had the hangover and bf had the eggs benny. Tasty.
Echo Park’s resident diner is Brite Spot, a corner option right off Sunset Boulevard. Hipsters and old-timers alike stop in today for slices of pie and, lots of late night fare. 続きを見る
The late hours make this place a go-to for a post-Echoplex rendezvous. Skip the bacon-wrapped hot dog vendors and head straight here. Fried chicken was delicious and true diner ambience was super fun.

Be sure to check out the Autumn Specials! Right now, they're serving an amazing Krunchy Kale Salad. In addition, they've added lots more vegan and vegetarian options since I last visited.
I have to say that, as a tea drinker, I wholly appreciate the fact that they give you a POT of hot water and not just a cup. As well as a healthy selection of teas to choose from yourself.
The kale salad, all breakfast items as well as their pies... BUT their coffee is always cold and doesn't taste good AND the service is MEDIOCRE!!! Good luck getting a refill...
The home-cooked feeling/food is gone . The kids took over, changed menu, gutted the place. Good bye corned beef hash they were known for. This is for after club was morning. Don't bother to dress.
This was my favorite restaurant in LA, but after a full hour of waiting for our food without any check-in from our waiter, it's the first restaurant I've ever walked out of.
