Fantastic quality embroidery on nice linen/ cotton. Prices reflect this, and Mr Tuan, the owner, does not bargain. Fixed pricing only, but well worth it! Enjoy.
Ask for the rear-facing 1st floor suites. Quiet, high-ceilinged, and spacious. Art gallery is bleah. Strand Bar has an awesome happy hour - Fridays, 5-11pm - half-priced drinks. :-D
Recently renovated, nicely done-up. 2 bedrooms. Great bathrooms, and wifi - necessary in Hanoi with no 3G. Graham Greene wrote "The Quiet American" at the Metropole. Choc buffet downstairs = Yum! :-)
