Eric D: My favorite cocktail bar in Tokyo. It can get busy at peak weekend hours: go early or on weekdays. No smoking! No menu: ask for a sherry drink, or something from their great whisky collection.

Eric D: Best ramen I've ever had: the broth is simply stunning.

Eric D: Incredible Wagyu beef, cooked to a perfect rare, crispy on the outside. The line takes a long while because there's only a few seats.

Eric D: Best yakitori I've ever had, perfect balance of juiciness, chat, salt, depth of flavor. The stuff dreams are made of. Have your hotel call to make a reservation if you don't speak Japanese.

Eric D: My favorite yakitori spot. The skin and wings are incredible, and the atsumi is amazing if they have it. Ask for yuzu kosho. Can get really busy so go at off hours or get your hotel to make you a res.

Eric D: "Yakitori & Wine Moto". The yakitori is very good, the wine list is even better.

Eric D: One of the few cocktail bars of this caliber that has an actual menu, and it's a great menu. Delightful little space, excellent drinks.

Eric D: Went here four times in a week. The best espressos I've ever had.
