Always start with the homemade ricotta, get the tagliatelle bolognese, bucatini or hanger steak but leave room for dessert...it's all amazing!
Dayboat Scallops, Hamachi Tartare, Chicories, and Charred Octopus--all good. Their pasta--phenomenal. Highly recommend the Bucatini.
Come for brunch...the Parmesan biscuits & sausage gravy is unreal. I literally clapped when the server brought it out! Stumptown coffee too - good stuff.

The baked eggs in a skillet for brunch are amazing especially on a nice day and a table outside! For pasta the lemon pasta is so simple but incredibly delicious. Great for sharing!

Get about 8 or more people together and order the entire menu (30 or so items) at a huge discount. Some of my favorite tapas in the city.
Get the fried goat cheese balls, lamb meatballs, pizza, spaghetti, bacon wrapped dates and olives, empanadas, chicken wings and pretty much anything else on the menu!

Everything Is the Best, but particularly the Pinocchio (proscuittuo, sopressata, mozzarella, sweet red pepers, and olive paste) and the Pavarotti (alami, smoked mozz, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke).
The picante is spicy and delicious. Chorizo with Basque peppers, tomatoes, a soft cheese, and a healthy dose of olive oil on a big crusty ciabatta.
N-Sider favorite: French style dishes infused with Vietnamese style. On our "must try" list- Pork Belly Banh Mi that has pork, ham, pickled carrots, daikon, & jalapenos for a little spice.
Super cheap, high quality pasta purveyor to many a top resto. Chestnut pasta is a miss but everything else is great!
Raoul's is a SoHo legend for its superb Alsatian cuisine. The Roast Wagyu Bavette is not to be missed.
